Ngorongoro Conservation Area - June 2011


These are the animals we saw at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area:
A caracal, guinea fowl, baboons, zebras, elephants, wildebeests, buffaloes, hyenas, ducks, Thomson's gazelles, Grant's gazelles, grey crowned cranes, ostriches, kori bustards, warthogs, hartebeests, a buzzard, black kites, lions, buffalo weavers, an African fish eagle, a tawny eagle, jackals, a rhinoceros, saddle-billed stork, vultures, francolins, flamingos, a red-billed stork and a yellow-billed stork.

A Caracal
Gazelles
These are both Tomson's Gazelles. They are smaller than Grant's Gazelles and have a black stripe on the side, which Grant's Gazelles do not have.





Buffaloes
The birds sitting on the buffalo are called buffalo weavers.
